Unsung heroes, names forgotten
They often lived their lives hidden
In veils, palaces and sanctums
Their stories, emotions and fears,
Smiles and tears,
Only witnessed by the walls of the fort.
How often I wish walls could speak,
Tell a tale beyond brutal wars, ego and men
Of love, loyalty and prayers of Women.
Of Her, Not the Princess, The Queen or The Mother.
But the person, her soul, heart and mind,
Beyond the Title.
