 In the darkness alone I sit 

Flickering shadows in the lamp just lit. 

Soaking in solitary bliss. 

I know not how time flies by 

Like an eternity in just a while; 

Lost in thoughts, alone I lie. 

Uncertain, in the hands of destiny.

There you are, miles away. 

Under the same sun and moon; 

Alone I am, losing my way, 

Hoping for fate to see you soon.
