Forever Mine

I came across a meadow

Where the rainbow met the earth,

And horses grazed, the sunshine blazed

And the birds made the music of life.

Far beyond it was the horizon

Where the mountain peaks touched the sky.

And the stream meandered past the valley

Of flowers and butterflies alike.

Up in the clouds, that touched the peak,

It was a house made of Hope.

Where firewood burnt and lavender grew,

And there was happiness in the breeze.

In bliss I stood, at the cliff,

The wind playing with my hair,

And I wished on every star that fell tonight,

"Let this dream be, forever, mine."
