It so happened yesterday that I was watching the rerun of the last season of How I Met Your Mother. And let me start with, unlike other fans, I loved how it ended. Because Ted Mosby is not about the Happily Ever After. He is a man looking for love. Seeking it in every girl he dates. From Robin to Stella and everyone else, he tried in vain to make people stay and the relationship work. It's his journey. To be who he is. He can't stay single. So he jumps into relationships, hoping she is his one. And also, in the process, he learns bits and pieces about Love. It's Ted's Journey to love. Tracy is the destination. And beyond her, when the dream comes to an end, is his forever with Robin.
Time is in different zones for us. Career. Love. Life. Every person has a time assigned for them. Be patient. The midlife crisis happens for everyone. But in the end, there is always a yellow umbrella out there for everyone. Or perhaps a blue French horn. You just need to look out for it. And make the bravest move to make them stay.
